We are in the process of developing tutorials and commonly asked questions.

  • a screenshot of screen recording of what to do
  • a direct link to the page on wp-admin or the SEOT hosting hub where you need to take action

For example:

  • Sometimes, your website might accidentally end up on a suspicious site list and then teachers can’t visit your site. (If your website is hard to spell, you might end up on this list with a phishing alert.) We can show you how to remove your website from these lists (i.e. Google Safe Browsing, Norton Safe Web, or McAfee WebAdvisor)
  • If you are getting a lot of comment spam, we can give you options on how to reduce comment spam on your TPT blog (i.e. turn off comments, install Akismet, etc)

If you don’t have the time to do it yourself, we’re happy to do it for you!

TPT Sellers who are on a standard TPT Blog WordPress Maintenance Plan get one hour of changes every month for website edits and customization.

Here are the prices. If you are a new TPT seller, you get huge discounts. Please make sure to select the correct TPT Milestone to see your discount.

For example:

  • If we discover your TPT blog is on a suspicious website list, we can put in a request to remove your website from that list on your behalf (i.e. Google Safe Browsing, Norton Safe Web, or McAfee WebAdvisor)
  • If you are getting a lot of comment spam on your TPT blog, we can turn off comments for you or install Akismet with your key. (Please note: Akismet is not free. You will have to purchase a plan separately, but once you get a key, we can install it on your TPT blog for you.)

Are their TPT Blog WordPress issues that we can’t help with?

If we can’t help, we’ll point you in the right direction!

We’re able to provide basic support for WordPress and the default theme and plugins installed when we set up your website.

This includes:

  • Redirection
  • SEOT Hosting hub
  • Basic DNS settings on Cloudflare

Clients often add plugins, change themes, or hire developers who add custom code.

SEOT Hosting does not support custom development (i.e coding) or support for third party plugin, themes, or services.

If you have custom development or third party plugin questions, we recommends you consult or hire a programmer or contact the developer of the third-party plugin or theme.

SEOT Hosting makes no claims or guarantees that our support staff will be able to assist you with your programming, module, or any other third party product issues.

Cancelling my subscription

SEOT Hosting plans are sold are set to auto-renew.

You can cancel your SEOT Hosting subscription at any time. Just send us an email and we’ll make sure that your subscription is cancelled and that you don’t get billed on the next billing cycle. 

When you cancel your subscription, and your current subscription expires, your site will go down. Please make sure to ask your new hosting company to transfer your site before your subscription ends.

Refund Policy

SEOT Hosting offers a 14 day refund period.

Please note: Domains cannot be refunded so if a domain is purchased on your behalf, the cost of the domain will be deducted from the refund. (This is true no matter where you buy your domain name. Domain names are non-refundable as this is how the domain name industry works.)

Late Payment / No Payment Policy

Payment for the first invoice is due 30 days after the invoice has been issued. 

Payment for the second and subsequent invoices in a recurring subscription are due immediately at the end of the billing cycle.

  • Overdue payment (i.e. 30 days after the first invoice is issued or immediately at the end of a billing cycle for recurring subscriptions.)
    • the website will be suspended. 
    • This means people trying to visit the website will get a 503 error.
    • Please access the hub during this time to download a backup of your site.
    • Once you pay the invoice, your website will be unsuspended.
    • Email [email protected] for help.
  • 30 days after a website is suspended, if payment has still not been made, the website will be deleted.
